The gorgon's reflection

On nearly a daily basis, Maggie the Gorgon would pose in front of a large, ornate (yet fully covered) mirror, wistfully imagining herself in its reflection as she posed like the fashion models she observed and admired from various fashion magazines and product advertisements.  However, on this very day, the cloth slipped from the mirror, falling to the floor, exposing herself to the deadly visage of the gorgon.  She is now staring at herself in horror as her once immortal, youthful appearance begun its excruciating transformation into unyielding stone.

Developed for the Monster Girl contest @ .  This image didn't work out as well as I hoped, but I am running out of time (and patience ).

Rendered in Poser Pro 2014 with some half-assed, beginner-level post-work.
