Post-apocalyptic fashion

This piece was inspired by Madonna's Ghosttown video.  No, I'm not a fan of hers, but I did appreciate her costume.  It seemed fairly...intricate.  She seemed to have been wearing multiple layers of clothing, which presumably was uncomfortable.  And try as I might, I was unable to replicate her costume very well.  For example, the coat used is much shorter, I did not use a green sheet, I did not really have a set of garters that really worked with this outfit, I cheated when it came to trying to have a pair of stockings over a pair of stockings, etc.

Nevertheless, when I saw the video last weekend, I felt a need to make this my first post-tax season project (even though someone has been patiently waiting since mid-March to complete a request for him).  I haven't quite decided if I will create a 2nd image; I have put a fair amount of time into it...

Yes, the first four months of this year is a very busy time for me, only progressively getting busier with each passing week to the end of April.  And what a terrible ending it was....  I'm still trying to recover from the lack of sleep, over-abundance of stress and the lack of recreation.
